Beginning of the 1990`s a novelty from the United States reached the European aluminium market – aluminium cast plates. Mid the 1990`s GLEICH started its own development & production of Al Cast Plates, meanwhile worldwide distributed under the brand name G.AL®. This trademark stands synonymously for superior materials properties and consistent high quality. Today the well known
G.AL® C250 and C210R are used in most branches of the industry setting international standards
in respect of

We control every production step to guarantee quality – Made in Germany.
- each batch is tested for chemical composition, porosity, grain size, density and strength
- each block receives an ID number traceable to source and related test data
- the in house heat treatment guaranties continuous, constant material properties
- all plates made from cast blocks receive a traceable ID number. Sawed plates are measured for thickness and flatness; precision milled plates for final thickness, flatness and surface roughness.
- all G.AL® precision plates are PVC coated
- 3.1 certificate for all G.AL® products
G.AL® C250 and G.AL® C210R are made from the 5000 (Al alloy) serial. They were followed by development from the 7000 (Al alloy) serial – G.AL® C330 and G.AL® C330R. By maintaining the consistent good properties in form stability and very good machinability the G.AL® C330 line has high strength properties comparable to rolled plates but without their tension and draft potential.
Our latest release is the G.AL® PWT Aluminium Cast Plates – highly dense, pore- free and isotropic material whose properties are superior to any comparable material of same strength.
