G.AL® C360 PWT Aluminum Cast Plate
G.AL ® C360 PWT is meant for applications in high temperature combined with high pressure as it can be exposed to 482 °F without any mutation of the microstructure. The excellent stability at high temperature make it ideally suitable for applications in molding – from injection to molds for autoclaves. Rapidly rotating or rotationally symmetric components such as turbines are also among the preferred fields of application, as well as diverse applications in components for defence and aerospace.
The extremely good damping characteristics of G.AL® C360 PWT are often used for gaining the greatest possible fatigue strength in for example bearings, bearing blocks and holding fixture for drive and control units.
